
The video games in Birmingham run from July 28 till August 8 with the wrestling going down at Coventry Stadium and Indoor Area on August 5 and 6.
Cojocaru, who has beforehand wrestled for Moldova and Romania, moved to Scotland in 2014 and trains on the Etko Sports activities Academy alongside Vio Etko who received bronze at Glasgow 2014.
Oldmeldrum’s Nicolae Cojocaru has been chosen in Workforce Scotland’s wrestling squad for the Commonwealth Video games.
Becoming a member of Cojocaru within the Scottish workforce are Ross Connelly, Abbie Fountain, Christelle Lemofack Letchidjio, Cameron Nicol.
Workforce Scotland Chef de Mission Elinor Middlemiss stated: “I’m actually happy for all the wrestlers chosen to characterize Scotland this summer time.
“This newest announcement takes our squad whole to 142. It’s a mixture of expertise and new faces, however there are some nice medal contenders on this squad and I
stay up for seeing them compete on the mat in Birmingham.”
