
Czech Railways stated the accident happened early within the morning on Monday within the city of Bohumin, shortly after the Pendolino practice departed for Prague.
The driving force of the practice was killed, whereas 4 Czech Railways staff on the engine and one on the practice had been injured.
A high-speed practice has collided with an engine in a station within the north-eastern Czech Republic, killing one individual and injuring 5.
It was unclear whether or not the engine was shifting on the time of the head-on crash.
Rescuers stated no passengers had been injured.
The Rail Security Inspection Workplace stated the practice was on the mistaken line, and the accident may need been attributable to human error.
